The Local HERO Foundation (Helicopter Emergency Response Organization) held its annual fundraiser on May 4th in support of saving lives in the region. This important organization raises funds and awareness in support of Northeastern Alberta’s only 24/7 helicopter emergency medical services, a critical lifesaving service in our community.
Attendees were treated to a fun and festive Mardi Gras-themed evening, live band and auction all in support of this important cause which raised $245,000! The Foundation relies heavily on donations from the community, and we are one of the many companies pleased to support this worthy organization.

It may seem hard to believe with the recent weather, but spring is right around the corner and that means baseball is starting. NTS is proud to be one of the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association’s House League sponsors for this season. Over 500 kids will be on diamonds all over town for the next couple of months.
